Comment: "Albert Martin's ministry proved to be a tremendous blessing in my own personal development as a Christian and as a pastor. Especially the Pastoral Theology course: it was like a treasure, I devoured [the tapes] – they were tremendously impacting in my life. He has had a powerful influence on many young pastors. — Jeffery S. Smith, Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Florida (click here to hear this audio). God's Word to Our Nation
Albert N. Martin

"Is there calamity in a city, and the LORD hath not done it ?" (Amos 3:6). "Hear ye the rod and Him who has appointed it" (Micah 6:9). "Every providence hath a voice" (Thomas Manton). While we cannot infallibly dogmatize all of the reasons why God is plaguing our world today with COVID-19 (because our generation does not have living prophets), it is revealed in Scripture that He relates to the nations – and that at times even chastens them (Psalm 94:10). This series sets forth some of the Biblical principles we would do well to prayerfully consider when thinking about the possible "whys" of the coronavirus.   [go]

The Return of Christ in New
Testament Belief and Experience
Albert N. Martin

This groaning world of plagues, death, alarming political corruption and ever-growing wickedness will not go on indefinitely. At the return of Messiah Jesus the heavens & earth will be radically renovated — and nothing will then dwell therein but righteousness. The New Testament reveals much about the LORD's return and the events that will cluster around it – and how these are designed to affect us now.   [go]

Through Life's Disappointments
Ron Lee Davis

Many have wondered why the long extended account of Paul's journey & shipwreck is in the Bible (Acts 27). He had previously received direct revelation that he would get to Rome (Acts 23:11) – but little did he realize the things he would encounter while en route! In this marvelous sermon captured from the Conference Echoes radio program more than 25 years ago, Pastor Davis movingly applies these events to the promises of God – and to the storms, disappointments and shipwrecks of the Christian life.   [go]

How to Be Sure

We live in a day when multitudes have been assured they are saved because they have walked an aisle, said "the sinner's prayer" or signed a decision card; yet they show none of the signs of being born again that are given in God's Word. Christ said, "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" (John 3:3). Therefore, assurance of regeneration is essential in order to have assurance of salvation. This tract shows from God's Word the urgent need for assurance and what changes will take place in the lives of those who have been born again. [go]

Down Life's Path (Poem)

"Down Life's Path" depicts the vanity and consequences of seeking happiness in the things of the world and gives the only solution, which is faith in Christ. Not only can this tract be useful for witnessing to unbelievers but also for encouraging believers. It serves as a reminder of the happiness they have in Christ, which is often needed in a world filled with sorrow. The poem "Assurance" is included so that people will know what changes to expect in their lives when they have saving faith. [go]
