'I thought about my ways, and turned my feet to your testimonies. I made haste and did not delay to keep your commandments.' In these words the Psalmist has captured the essence of obedience — the necessary fruit of true conversion. This sermon on Psalm 119:57-60 exhorts believers to follow the Psalmist's example. You will want to listen to and meditate on this exposition often as an aid to living a holy life. — Trinity Pulpit catalog.

This is 'classic' Pastor Martin at his Spirit-assisted best. It is an excellent example of sermon introduction, exegetical clarity, vivid illustrations, listener engagement by direct address and searching questions, pointed practical applications which leave the hearer searched, challenged, humbled, provoked to growth in grace and a closer more precise walk with God. In short, this is true preaching — as opposed to a running commentary Bible study. We suggest hearing it at one sitting without interruptions — as if you had been in the congregation on that Lord's Day.
