Longer than Philippians and other N.T. Epistles,“The Sermon on the Mount”is one of the most significant portions of Holy Scripture. Entitled variously as“Kingdom Life in a Fallen World”, “True Righteousness”,a“Manifesto-"or“Magna Carta of the Kingdom”,it deserves frequent, prayerful, in-depth study by every Christian. In this sermon we learn of“the abiding validity of the Law of God, the unity of the Old & New Testaments, the spirituality of true discipleship, [and the] the great concerns of the heart.”
Recorded more that 50 years ago (the assassination of JFK is mentioned as a current event in the sixth message), these sermons are as pertinent today as when first delivered.
